Folder View Question

I am using folder view as thats just where my albums showed up.

When viewing my “folders” on the CLUIP+, I first have to tell the CLIP+ if I want to view the folders on my Internal Memory; or view my other folders on my MICRO SD Card. Why does the folder view not integrate them during refresh?

I use folder view because thats wher my music shows up.

I loaded 10 albums into Internal memory, and then loaded 12 albums onto the Micro SD. I use MSC Mode. On my older CLIP I’d get 22 albums under Album View.

I would much rather view them all under Album View, but they are not there. If someone knows how to get them to show up there that would be great. But since I can only get to them in folder view I’d really like to have them be integrated together.

Someone mentioned that my album tags may not be correct. That may be right, but they were perfect for the regular Clip.

Why would the Clip+ not show them and the Regular Clip does?

It’s virtually the same 20 albums and now only 2 show up under album view.

I checked the MP3 tags.

They are all there and saved.

I started over and loaded 10 albums.

I have 10 in Folder View.

It shows only 3 in Album view.

I am really disapointed. 

I only bought the Clip Plus because of the Micro SD slot.

I guess I’ll get rid of the Clip Plus and get a second regular Clip.

Yeah and the really odd thing is that the Regular Clip always saw all the albums as Albums.

Do you think the firmware update will fix this?

Are the files on the card in the music folder on the card? Perhaps if they aren’t, it might make a difference? If they are in the audiobook or podcast folder on the card, then they won’t show up in the music, albums list, but in the audiobook or podcast areas instead.
