Unlock Utility for WD Encrypted Drive has stopped working

Connected My Passport Ultra 1TB to laptop (Windows 7 Professional) that previously worked and now getting an error that unlock utility has stopped working and forces me to close the window. I’ve read through many posts / answers and cannot find anything describing this issue.

I’ve tried running as administrator & disabling FW settings. Tried verifying firmware, but received an error there too.

Any insight / help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Have you tried downloading the newest version of the application? If not, please try that from the WD Support site.
