Just wondering if it is possible to A. Change the turn on screen that normally says “Sansa Fuze” to my name or some other text or video or B. have no turn on screen?
Also is it possible to somehow electronicly put my name into the device?
Not right now… I did suggest it tho.
{Perk!} This is a great idea! My daughter either has the worst luck in the world or friends with sticky fingers because her mp3 players disappear. It would be great if her name would show on the front of the player when turning it on. Maybe it would discourage the sticky fingers to keep their hands off!

Hi, New guy here. Actually you can put your name in your Fuze. I used Microsofts Word Pad and made a document with the largest font word pad has. Put my name, Address etc. in it, saved it as a JPEG, ran it through SMC and put it in the photos folder. I called the jpeg “Owner”. I did that on my Fuze and my Sony Walkman. Give it a try, Kevin K.

Right many of us have done that but where this thread started, was when you turn your player on it says Sansa, we were hoping you could program it to say Kevin (or what ever).
I’d like to see that in the next firmware update.
