Problem with charging my Fuze

Hi @ all!

I bought a Fuze v2 2 weeks before and like it really much, but I had some kind of bug twice since I got it:

Charging the fuze via USB when connected on the Computer works perfectly, but twice the battery was shown full and after disconnecting the Fuze it was only 57% charged.

Is there a software Bug in the last Firmware or did I make something wrong?

The computer was in StandBy for a while, and the Fuze still connected, but does this cause such an effect?

Greetings

It could. Have you tried a different USB port? Is your computer a lap or desktop? Back USB ports (on desktops) generally put out more ‘juice’ than the fromt ones. And try to avoid hubs.

I have a Desktop PC and a it’s a front hub with full power (my other gadgets are hungry for energy, too). I always used the same port and usually it was loaded correctly, except the two times!

Best solution is to buy an external USB AC adapter for a few dollars.

Even though my 800mA USB adapter seems to work, do you know whether the Fuze prefers a specific power output? By the way, my USB Hub with four outlets and a 2,5A external power supply unit which I use for file transfers seems to do the charging job as well even with the PC turned off.
