Ejecting Passport

When i try to use Safely remove hardware on windows 10 nothing happens.
In file explorer i right click My Passport & there is no EJECT option.
If i use a Flash Drive & right click i get an EJECT option.
How can i fix this or eject my drive ?

Thanks for the official support from WD @Rocky.S. That is the most accurate answer to say something is using the drive so figure out what it is, stop that, then try again.
However, I have never found a good way to eject passport when Windows says it’s still in use. Windows is terrible and doesn’t tell the user what is using it either.
I wrote a quick batch script that simply automates mountvol and in my experience that should halt handles to the drive which allows one to safely eject it. **Use at your own risk: dismount_vol.txt (1.7 KB)
