Only one output channel is coming to the headphones and I suspect a cracked solder joint between the jack socket and the board on my E200. Is it possible to have this repaired by SanDisk?
Unfortunately, SanDisk does not repair devices, though I feel a repair facility would be nice indeed. The Sansa is covered by a one-year warranty, beyond which, repairs may be possible, but the trick is finding an electronics technician. Oh, and available parts would be important too.
Many users have successfully repaired the headphone connection with a little careful disassembly and some soldering.
