Windows can't transfer files to e130

Hi, 

 I still have my old e130. But recently, even it works fine on its own, when I connect it to Windows PC,

 Both logical disks are recoginized, but I can’t access them, can’t even format.

 The player shows ‘USB Connected’ and then freezes at transfer stage semicircle moving very slowly. 

 and windows times-out whenever I try to access it.

I would try the following:

  1. If a desktop, try a USB port on the back of the computer.

  2. Try another USB cable. 

  3. This advice from LagunaSansa in this thread worked twice for my e130:

"Try taking the battery out of the Sansa. Let the Sansa sit for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, hold down the power button for a minute or so. The battery should not be in the player yet.

Next, put in a fresh AAA battery and try turning it on."

What is the latest f/w version for e130?

Second option helped.
