Will the Sansa e260 v1 play audio books?

I have an older Sansa e260 v1 and would like to put audio books on it.  How do I go about doing this?  Is this unit even compatible with audio books?

Depends on the source and format of the audio books. Without more information, no one here can really help you.

The v1 e200 series can play wma or mp3 format audio books. This includes NetLibrary and Overdrive Media books.

Audible format isn’t supported on the v1, unless you make an archive copy of your book first (burn to audio CD). In this case, you can then make a wma or mp3 format copy to enjoy on the player.

All later Sansas, starting with the e200 v2 , support the Audible format.
