Hi thomas_dalis,
It seems that the drive is not working fine as it failed the Quick Test.
Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this.

Thanks very much my friend. I will contact them. May i ask something else?
In case i have to save files that are stored in WD Passport, any idea how to do that?
Hi thomas_dalis ,
You can manually copy and paste the files that are stored in My Passport.
OK, but i canoot do that since my pc cannot read WD PASSPORT. I cannot open it to drag and drop files.
Any other idea?
Thanks very much for your time.
Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with your drive. A failed test often indicates physical damage to the drive. I’d try the drive with another USB cable (a short cable is best) first and see if it is recognized. If not, try it on another PC and see if it is recognized there. If all that fails contact support.
If the drive is damaged, the only way to get access to the files would be to restore your backups or data recovery. Do you have a backup of the data stored on the drive? (If this was the backup, do the original files still exist?)
Thank you very much for your answer my friend. I have tried to connect my
WD PASSPORT to another PC and still cannot be recognized. Also i have tried
another USB cable and still is not recognized. Unfortunately, this was my
back up for the original files. So, do you know how to recover them? Any
ideas?
Again thank you very much for your time.
Have you contacted support? They might have some additional options to try. If they confirm it is damaged or otherwise unreadable, you might want to get in touch with one of the Data Recovery companies in the link I provided.
I have contacted WD SUPPORT and i am waiting for their reply. By the way to
which link do you refer?
Anyway thank you very much for your effort and time.
