Hi I have a WD my passport 1TB for PC I want it to run it on my Mac (Macbook with M. Lion) as well, it connects with my Mac and I can view and copy data from WD to Mac but cannot do vice versa. I mean i can not put my Mac data on my WD, I have visited the WD website and installed all the firmware, security update, utility update and the +turbo update for Mac but still cannot copy my Mac data to WD.

Any Help???

Unless it is a WD Passport for Mac, WD Passport Air, or WD Passport Studio, then it will need to be formatted before you can write (Add/delete/modify files) to your disk drive. For directions on how to partition and format an external hard drive as HFS+, please see:
