WD My Passport as a CD Drive

I was using this drive on my LG Smart TV and have bought a TV Recorder box and want to reformat this drive for use on our PCs and laptop.

Trouble is when you plug it into the PC it states the drive as a CD DRIVE, I have tried following for disk management etc to reformat the drive for use with PC but nothing. Its just lists the partition at 625MB and classed as a CD DRIVE.

I have downloaded all the firmware updates and the software updates. Please advise as it about to go through the window!!!

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the reply, but I have already tried that, as it lists the drive as a cd drive it doesnt show anything more that the 648mb available on the drive.
