Unable to transfer anything to new sandisk 1TB SSD

I bought new SanDisk 1TB Extreme Go SSD and used a MacBook to transfer the file. I have already installed security software for Mac, enabled the password and formatted it once.

I am still not able to add any documents. Nothing is working copy/pest and drag/drop. When I try to add nothing is happening.

am I missing anything?
