The correct password not being recognized! WD passport 2 Tb usb3.0

I am totally buffled by this. The password that I set up on my external drive is not recognized by the WD drive unlock  software… I have just set one but it doesnt work minuted after i set it up…

Can i recover the data? I am 100% sure that the password is correct. I am so upset!!!

There is no Password reset if you can’r figure it out you are out of luck. The data is hardware encrypted and beyond normal recovery methods.

What is there to figure out? I have the password but the device doesnt recognize it… not only that but I used it minutes before to disable autolock for user… at the next attempt it didnt work altghough I used it short time before…

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!!

try rebooting the computer and power cyccling the drive. It may not have fully registered the password autolock removal.

Check your capslock

if that doesn’t work, you may be in trouble!
