Good morning, I just posted my first post a minute ago about album art. But my question for this post is, when syncing/transferring mp3 files from computer to Fuze, how are they sorted into different folders? Would I drop and drag these manually? I just used media monkey for the first time the other day, but it appears that it is the software I am looking for. Can the files be transfered by MM and sort automatically? Either way doesn’t matter to me, I can take the time to do it manually, in fact sometimes I prefer manual. Just trying to figure out my options. Audio books are a big thing for me and my mp3 player. I have also, (in the last couple of days) discovered Podcasts. Not 100% what they are or how they work, but I know the folder is on the Fuze which is what prompted me to look into them
Thank You
Media Monkey should place everything into the Music folder. The Fuze does the genre sorting through an automatically generated ID3 tag database.
I love podcasts on the Sansa. MM has a podcast aggregator that will pull the daily feeds and will synchronize them with your Sansa. For example, I listen to the BBC NewsPod daily, and Scotland’s Funny Bits, updated every few days.
The genre of these podcasts is “podcast”; the Fuze automatically places them in the Podcast folder.

I use the “send to” menu in MediaMonkey to place them directly in the Podcast folder, but I’m also in MSC mode
