Sluggish Sansa Fuse

The screen goes blank for about 4 secs every time you try and navigate by the wheel or buttons making it unuseable

I did a soft re-boot, formatted the drive, did a factory reset even updated the firmware

Anyone else experienced this or got any idea how to fix it

it sounds like a hardware issue. contact sandisk tech support and they can not get it working if it is still in warranty they will replace it. 866-sandisk
