working fine then today i switched it on and now it will not switch off, tried reset, nothing, tried holding button for thirty seconds nothing. is it going in the bin?
I’ve never heard of that before. Usually when you hold down the power button, eventually it will shut off resetting in the process.
If you have a memory card in it, try popping it out and see if that makes a difference.
