sup friends, can i use another battery to replace sansa battery.
No need to start a new thread for this. You could’ve simply replied in your 1st one.
And it not easy to replace the battery in the Fuze. Many have tried. A few have succeeded but often than not, they end up breaking the delicate ribbon cable to the LCD screen that has to be moved out of the way first.
There’s more than one way to replace a battery. Rather than dismantle the device, you could buy a USB Charger. You will have to carry it with you at all times, though (assuming your built-in battery is ABSOLUTELY no good).
If your current battery is working fine for you, I wouldn’t recommend replacing it. It might pose problems for you in the future.

What part of the Subject Title “sansa battery dead” don’t you understand?
It can be replaced. Just pick a replacement that is the same physical size or smaller.
If you aren’t handy with small things and familiar with the various connectors, this isn’t going to be an easy or fast process.
The mAH rating is nearly meaningless, but the V (voltage) IS important.
I haven’t replaced the battery but I have disassembled the Fuse. At the moment I’m looing for a replacement LCD.
