San Disk cruzer 16 GB USB Drive not recognized by laptop

My San Disk cruzer 16 GB USB Drive is not being recognized by any laptop/ desktop. I get a message saying it has malfunctioned.

How do I make it work? It worked fine initially but then it has stopped working.

Error Message: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

isolate the issue first if it’s just your laptop. Have you tried to plug this in on ther devices yet? Perhaps a reformat would solve that as well.
