RECORDING VOICE in a MicroSD

Hi I’m a french user 

I just bought a SANSA FUZE 2GB + MicroSD SANDISK 8GB 
I completed the 2 GB of music
When I want to record a conversation he told me that I did not have enough memory, when my microSD is empty

You can’t…th recording only works on the internal memory.

You may want to try Rockbox for this.

It’s not currently supported for the v2 Fuze but the dev version is now working quite well and I don’t think it will be too too long before it’s a stable build.

I tried out recording and it’s working.

On Rockbox you can choose which directory to be your recording directory and so you can choose one on the microSD card. It also give smany options for recording format, frequency and modes. Many options there and a recording meter too.

To choose where recordings are saved just browse with File browser and select directory. Then hold down center button until context menu shows. Select option “Set as Recording Directory”.

I read a suggestion before.  Using the computer, transfer the recording from the internal memory to the external memory.  I think they also suggested changing it to an MP3, but can’t remember if that was a good idea or not… you could try.  It would take less room.

So if you need to record vocal items, use your card for music, etc., and the internal memory for voice recording.
