Problem since firmware update

Hi all,

Just got my fuze and was having problems with the ‘free 90mb’ message to build the music db even though there was loads of free space. 

So I downloaded the updater which updated it to v 01.01.22. After this, the music player just skips constantly on all music.

So I have followed the instructions to manually update to v2 by copying the .bin file to the root but this just does not update when I disconnect. I have also tried the updater but it says it is upto date.

Please help I have tried everything and it is just not playing ball.

If you have a V1 fuze you cant use a V2 Firmware. The skipping issue is most commonly due to the headphones. Make sure they are in all the way, you will have to push hard.

Dont feel bad… Its actually really really common. The fuze headphone jack is really tight at first. It will loosen up.
