Podcasts will not play in order - they play in reverse order - I have tried transfering them in different orders and one at a time, but they still transfer to the Fuze in reverse order.

That was done on purpose. The Newer Podcasts play first. This was done for people who have months of podcasts where the newer podcasts are more relevant. What you can do is try to edit the tags of your podcasts so they play in order.
Reversed the order in the latest firmware.
