Hello all,

I’ve run into a little problem with my e280; one day when I added some new music to it, all the folders in the mp3 player got messed up somehow. All the songs are in there (in Random Play All mode, for example), but if I try to look up a particular artist or album, it just says that the folder is empty. The problem happened after I tried adding music from a different computer with a newer version of windows media p[layer, but i don’t know if that’s what causes it…
any help would be appreciated :smiley:

It sounds like the player’s database needs to be refreshed… I suggest checking for firmware update for the the player on SanDisk’s website.

nice! that fixed a lot of it, the folders are no longer empty.
Except…now many of the “album” or “artist” folders only have one or two songs from the album/artist…where’d the rest of the songs go?

Delete the SYSTEM folder… Works a charm :slight_smile:

system, eh? That sounds important…where can I find this folder?
