new user attempting to use MY Passport 2TB external drive
I create a back plan. Why doesn’t My Passport use it when I select backup now?
I receive different file errors after each backup? Is there a way to check everything is being backed up?
When I attempt to restore a file I my ‘restore from’ and ‘view files from’ screens are blank
Need a little help to benefit from this product.
Yes i have looked thru the knowledge base and watched the videos.

Are you using the same software that you used to create the backup?
Try reinstalling the software and try that again.

I have reinstalled the software and my restore files screen is still blank. Suggestions appreciated.

I have decided to switch to Win 10 File History backup. It is much easier for me to use, no file errors encountered, and it provides backup status when incomplete.
