My Passport Ultra 2 TB not detected

I have a WD Passport Ultra Model No. WDBBKD0020BBK-05 not getting detected. Once connected, it shows as a CD drive. On double clicking it shows “D:/ Application not found”. LED light is on, and also I can hear the disk spinning. While removing drive, it detects the drive and safely ejects it successfully. My disk is protected/encrypted with password.

Solutions tried and tested as below:

  1. Tried on different laptops, with different ports and different cable as well - Same outcome.
  2. Disk Management shows Disk 1 Unknown Not Initialized - Initialise Disk (GPT/MBR) - The request failed due to fatal device hardware error.
  3. Used C:/chkdsk d: /f /r /x - “Cannot open volume for direct access”.
  4. WD Drive Utilities - Run Drive Status Check - “SMART Status Failed”.

Need help to detect the HDD to access my data.
