I built a new computer running Windows 10 PRO - 64 Bits
I have several external backup drives (2 WD My Passport, 1 Maxtor 3M)
Everyth ing works fine with Maxtor
But with the 2 My Passport, I have a strange problem : they are recognized ONLY on certain ports
If I plug them on the ports on the motherboard, they are not recognized (Windows seems to recognize them as the sound for “adding a peripheral” is played) - But when I connect them to the USB ports (USB 2 or USB 3) located in front of my tower, they work fine !
Any idea ? Did I forget somehing (installation, drivers …)
