Got a sandish sansa m240 since about a year.
When I connect it to the computer, it says “USB Connected MTP” witch is normal.
But nothing happen on my computer.
I try to solve the problem by searching the mp3 player on the device manager (using windowsXP)
The propreties says: "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver."
When I click “Reinstall driver” this message appears: "There was a problem installing the hardware Sandisk Sansa m240. An error occur during the instalation of the device. A service installation section of this INF is invalid.".
I can listen music un my mp3 player witch is working just fine. But I can’t plug it in my computer to change my music. Stuck with the same songs since november and going nuts.
I tried to install the updater for firmware but nothing happen. Same thing with the Device Recorvery Setup.
When I start it, I can’t seem to find any number on the mp3 screen except “Sandisk m240 1.0GB”
