Formatting a Windows drive for a Macbook Pro

I want to buy this drive, WD 2TB Silver My Passport Ultra Metal Edition Portable External Hard Drive - USB 3.0 -

I use only Windows 10. It is a gift for a person with a Macbook pro, a few years old.

Will there be problems with formatting the drive?
