Firmware problem

I updated my firmware for my fuse 8Gig and some how the right side of the headphone you can’t hear any drums or guitars.

Which is so weird because I already tested with 2 different headphones and still the same problem.

Is there anyway to roll back to the old firmware because it was great when I brought which was this black Friday.

Any suggestions Thanks.

Fuze 01.01.11 firmware

I’ll be interested to hear if this works, as this is not a known problem with the latest f/w release. It may just be defective and coincidental.

thanks tapeworm but no still the same problem and it’s not the songs because they play fine on my computer and played also fine on the first day that i put it in my sansa. This is so weird because what i also notice is that the people that sing in the background can’t be hear on the right headphone. I think just bring mine back to costco. Or is this covered in the warranty.

Thanks again

Yes, this would be covered under SanDisk’s 1 yer warranty, but you’d be much better off exchanging it at Cosco. You’ll get another one same day. It can take weeks (literally) to get one replaced through SanDisk.

One thing to try first though is to make sure your earphone plug is all the way into the socket. The Fuze is known to have an extremely tight jack and many people have thought they had a bum unit and then discovered another little shove seated it properly and everything sounded perfect. Manke sure there is no part of the metal shaft showing when it is plugged in.
