I’m a long-time (and now former) Sandisk customer.
I copied about 60 files – 84GBs – from an SSD onto the Sandisk 128GB flash drive. The drive was too hot to touch. Something others have reported.
The drive failed to copy some files; I clicked retry and the files eventuallly copied. That happened many times. But clearly something was amiss. Finally, the Sandisk became a read-only flash drive. I can’t copy to it, can’t delete files (CRC errors), can’t even format it.
This is an abysmal and disappointing product, and the lesson is I should have read the Amazon 1-star ratings more carefully.
