Converting movies

hi

I just bought my Sansa e260 for the feature to be able to convert movies and put it on my player. I got the latest version of media converter. But everytime i try to convert it , it failed.

I try to get other program too , to put my avi into mov and still didnt work. I would really like to get some help. Im new into that, so might need to guide me a lil bit.

As for Sandisk’s media converter,

Some avi’s work for me, some don’t.  There are actually two different versions of the media converter- one uses the ‘engine’ by arcsoft, one uses ‘intervideo’ as the engine. Maybe find the other version and try it?
