#1) Your local library
Many larger libraries participate in an online service for downloading audiobooks for a defined check-out period using DRM (Digital Rights Management). My library uses Overdrive.com.
You can also check out library audiobook CDs and rip them on your computer (time-consuming for long books). You’d want to look for instructions on how to rip them & attach the proper tags so the tracks play in order.
#2) http://librivox.org/ for Classics. The books are read by volunteers.
These are what I’ve used. I don’t buy books, but it pretty much puts me at the mercy of the library for getting new stuff.
Buying the Bible on CD to convert to .mp3 format just to put on your player is probably a fairly expensive proposition. But I bet if you asked around at your church, either they would have a copy to loan you, or somone would know some member who does.
I have the BIBLE on 2 differnt cd formats—they are to long to put on the clip+ ----70 hours— you have to convert it to put --part–on there–my clip+ will only play 15 hours—so you see what you have to do—this is just a suggestion for you–some one will post an answer for you —I hope—you can get what you need at–amazon.com—as for as BIBLE on cd’s that is.—

I doubt the OP was intending to listen to the complete Bible all the way through is one sitting (or charging).
As far as fitting the entire thing on the Clip+ goes, a lot depends on what bit-rate and format you rip the CDs to, but a 32GB Micro SDHC card in the convenient slot (in addtional to the internal memory) would go a long way in storing such a large tome.
YEAh , that card thinghy is a good idea, I did’nt think of that, you could put all of it on a card , and listen for day’s. and I know that the entire listening plesure of the BIBLE for day’s would be a good thing, but my question would be --------can u take up where u left off???
Yes, if the files Genre tag is Audiobooks and/or the files are placed in the Audiobooks folder, there will be a RESUME option on the player.
