I have a lot of information on my passport which I desperately need to access
Have you tried it with a different (ideally a short one if you can find one) USB cable? What does it show in Disk Management?
Hi, I have tried all below:
Device Details: WD My Passport
P/N: WDBY8L0020BSL-01
- Operating System: Windows 7, 64 Bit
- Installed WD SES Device Driver for 64 Bit.
- Drive get detected and it does show D drive
- Device Manager doesn’t have any error for WD SES Driver.
- Disk Management does show the HDD and Drive.
- But LED is blinking continuously and when try to access drive D. It hangs everything on computer.
- It doesn’t show anything and once I remove cable. Desktop become normal.
- Change cable, used multiple computer, updated the driver even used Backup WD application.
Thanks
