Can't Delete back up set WD Backup

I’m using WD Backup which came with My Passport Ultra. "Unable to back up files to My Passport Ultra because there is not enough space. When I click Delete File, It asks Do you wna tto delet files form… I click Delete Files and it runs for ever and never quits.
nothing happens when I choose Quickview
WDDrive Utilities
Run Drive Status Check SMART status passed
Run Quick Drive Test Passed.
