I have a Sansa c140 and would like to put on it music with folders that were renamed. But when I do that the music & folder comes up as Unknown. Thanks for the help. Mp3 player stuff is still pretty new to me.
Sansa players of this type don’t read folders; only ID3 tags. Files that end up in ‘Unknown’ on your player means it cannot read the existing (if any) tags. Download MP3TAG (free program) to edit or change the format of your tags. Use ID3v2.3 ISO 8859-1 as the tag format for best results.
