AC outlet charger options

I recently bought a Sansa Clip and wondered if I could use the AC power charger from my previous MP3 player.   The “plug” fits the player and has these specs on it:

Input 100-240 V 50/60 Hz  200mA

Output 5V -1000mA  (L.PS.)

Thank you for any imput!   If I could use it, I would enjoy the $40 savings

Thank you for your feedback, Miikerman.  I think the LPS probably is some trademark but I am not fluent in “electric” I thought I’d throw it in the mix!
