Refusal to deal

Excuse moir, but didn’t you mean the Sansa drive would be e? /f tells ChkDsk to ‘fix’ whatever corrupted files it finds.

Or at least that’s the way I understood it.

Note to shriraam100 and the ever-popular ra28: microsansa and slotmonsta are a moderator and administrator, working for SanDisk. You have the company’s attention.

Try their technical advice, step by step slowly, and if it doesn’t work then they will clearly get action from SanDisk about replacing your Fuze.

I tried all the reset options given by microsansa, still the player won’t turn on. Microsansa pls mail someone you know in Sandisk India about this issue. The distributor is now saying that Sandisk has adviced them not to collect faulty products from customers and not to provide support for them. The only solution to this problem is either replacement or refund. Sandisk should contact their Indian distributor regarding this issue.

This problem has to be solved by Sandisk, we cannot read and follow instructions given by unauthorized Sandisk persons. Microsansa as a Sandisk staff, you should contact Sandisk India regarding this issue. In India we’re unable to call, dead phone numbers.

“The distributor is now saying that Sandisk has adviced them not to collect faulty products from customers and not to provide support for them.”

This guy is a liar and a thief. Pure and simple. Like a lot of electronics sellers in the USA and everywhere else, unfortunately.

Do you have any consumer-protection government bodies in India?  Seems like you do:

The Consumer Production Act provides for a three-tier system of redressal agencies: one at district level known as District Forum, second at state level known as ‘State Commission’, and third at national level known as ‘National Commission’. A complaint is to be made to the district forum of the concerned district where the value of goods and services and compensation, if any, is up to Rs 20 lakhs, to the ‘State Commission’ between Rs 20 lakhs and Rs 100 lakhs, and to the National Commission for more than Rs 100 lakhs.

Also: Consumer protection

Meanwhile, I expect you’ll be hearing from SanDisk.

ra28, perhaps you cannot read but other people can.
