I’ve never had this happen before… Have you tried reinstalling the firmware? You can find a firmware download + instructions on how to install the firmware HERE . Don’t use the updater, as it’s quite useless on this player. Instead, use the “Manual Firmware Update” method.
Dear halonacho117: I did as you suggested and the issue is now resolved. Turned it on 3 times in a row and it boots even faster than before fyi. No more aborted boots. Now I can continue using my Fuze+ with confidence !
Ps I hope halonachos117’s advice helps others with this rare issue using the updater instead of the manual firmware update.
I would also like to add my 2 cents worth that coming from an Ipod Classic the Fuze+ is a fully fleged device with awesome menuing capabilities… most importantly I have icons of the albums all on top at once of each album from an artist and with a quick flick can go to any album or song without going back then -up or down- and then back in using the wheel of the ipod. Please folks that dont like the gui of the fuze+, fool around a while you might come to love it as I have.
Thankyou again halonacho117 ! Have a great day.
